The film tells the story of a researcher who travels with her colleagues in Bolivia. There she is kidnapped and then abandoned together with two blind boys in the salt desert. While they decide to help each other, the woman discovers that the boys have lost their sight due to environmental circumstances. The kidnappers wanted to draw attention to pollution in the region. Meanwhile, a volcano is about to erupt.
