Ruth, a social worker depressed, comes home from work and find the house burglarized, call the missing silverware and laptop. Having lost faith in the police (and perhaps in all humanity), Ruth begins to investigate on its own, joining forces with its neighbor unbalanced house and his dog Tony. After locating the laptop, the two date back to a shipping store, coming to thwart a gang of degenerates and dangerous criminals that inhabit a strange underground world where there seems to be no way out.
