The world is now uninhabited. There are only two groups of people alive: on the one hand, there are people who have managed to avoid a lethal virus infection and on the other hand there are the violent ones who are infected and thirsty for blood. Ann, Chris and Olivia are forced to reject the infected. When, however, an expedition to recover food does not go as it should, one of them will have to make a terrible choice that he would never dare to imagine.
