Stanley Hill is an unemployed engineer. One day, in a car park, helplessly assists the murder of his wife Vivian. Detective Gibson and the other cops involved in the case are not really interested in trying to figure out who the assassin might be and so Stanley decides to turn to old friend Dennis. The secret secrets of the past seem to be linked to the assassination of his wife.
