A detective from the New York City Police Department working in Brooklyn with Lieutenant Wozniak is used to going beyond the rules for his own reckoning. When flagged to break the law, it is forced by FBI investigator Robert Stahl to cooperate with his anti-corruption task force. In this way it will be forced to betray the trust of colleagues.
