In Hawaii, amidst an exuberant nature, a girl and her mother gather swarms of wild bees to create disease-resistant colonies. The father protests against the construction of a telescope and NASA scientists simulate life on Mars. Stars and beehives, water, light, volcanoes. While the bees flutter on the brink of extinction, the director gives us a dream about the end and survival, with our eyes open.
