Thelma and Louis have everything for each other: she is a single mother who got pregnant at seventeen, he is a boy of twelve who has never met his father; she works in a warehouse and tries to keep up with her son’s education, he goes to school and gets lost in the small and big passions of her age. One of them is skateboarding, and just as he is on the board one day he gets hit by a van. Thus begins the journey, motionless, of Louis, who in a coma from a hospital bed tries to stay attached to his life. And Thelma’s journey also begins, on the road, determined to complete the “10 things to do before the end of the world” that she found written in a notebook by her son, with the hope that once completed, Louis can be awakened.
