During a severe snowstorm, Paul, a bar owner in a small Canadian town, just closed his place when Steve, a tramp loaded with luggage, asks to enter. After the initial tension between the two, Steve tells the bartender a story as if there was an old debt between them. It is the story of another snowy night, of another bar, The Oak Room, and of another bartender who, shortly after closing time, visits an unknown guy. But even within this story there is another, and then another. The night turns into a dark tale, between violence and identity exchanges.
